What's the difference between the dotts S and the dotts M/M+?
  • The dotts S are wired headphones while dotts M and M+ are wireless headphones. This means that the dotts S are always used via cable, while the dotts M/M+ can be used via cable or Bluetooth. 

And what's the difference between the dotts M and the dotts M+?
  • While both are wireless headphones and have the same technology, the dotts M+ have Active Noise Cancelling (ANC). In order to get the best experience to enjoy ANC, we recommend you to go with an Over Ear shape so external sounds are fully canceled.

What's Active Noise Cancelling (ANC)?
  • Active noise control (ANC), also known as noise cancellation, or active noise reduction (ANR), is a method for reducing unwanted sound by the addition of a second sound specifically designed to cancel the first. This means that it allows you to cancel every unwanted external sound and create your own world. 

What are the headphones made of?
  • Our headsets are made of recycled materials, here you can find a detailed description of these materials.

    PLA: Polylactic acid is a biodegradable polymer derived from lactic acid. It is a highly versatile material, which is made from 100% renewable resources, such as corn, beets, wheat and other products rich in starch. This acid has many equivalent and even better characteristics than many petroleum-based plastics, which makes it effective for a wide variety of uses.

    TPU: It is a thermoplastic material composed of different plastic materials and rubbers, that unlike rubbers and plastics separately, when combining the properties of both, allows it to be a totally recyclable material.

What kind of leather do you use on the earpads?
  • Our headphones are totally eco-friendly so we don't use real leather, we use vegan leather whose quality is almost as good as real leather.

What does it mean that the headphones are upgradeable?
  • The modular design of tour dotts allows us to sell each piece individually which means that you won't need to worry about buying a whole new headphone when you are tired of the color or shape as well as when it gets broken. The upgradeable program will start once the campaign is finished.
Can the headphone be used by cable? 
  • Yes, an extra Jack 3.5mm cable is included in the box. There is an auxiliary port located on the back of the right Earcup.

How is the comfort level?
  • We have spent a lot of time designing the most comfortable headphone for you. Thanks to 3D printing and the headband fully-flexible material the dotts M is more comfortable than any other headphone you have ever tried. It fits to every head size and shape. 

 Are the headphones suitable for exercise use?
  • Yes, they are. They are so light and the flexible headband makes it perfect for sports use. We recommend the Over the Ear Oval for sport use, but both of the Over the Ear are perfect. The earpads are also totally interchangeable.

 Are the Earpads replaceable? 
  • The earpads are completely and easily replaceable.

 Which voice assistants work with the dotts M?
  • Our dotts work properly with Siri, Google Assistant and Cortana.
 Are all dotts pieces interchangeable?
  • The dotts headphones are modular, so all pieces that belong to the same product range are interchangeable

How long does battery last?
  • For both, dotts M and dotts M+ battery last up to 40 hours.

Do I Need to Set up an Account to Place an Order?
  • Yes, in order to place your dotts, it's necessary that you create a personal account.

Can I Shop on the Website via My Phone?
  • Our website is mobile friendly so there's no problem you shop from your phone.

How Will I Know My Order Has Been Placed?
  • Once you have placed your order, we will send you a preliminary confirmation via email and normally process your order within 5-10 days. We will send another email once your dotts are ready to ship.

Do I Need to Set up an Account to Place an Order?
  • Yes in order to place your dotts, it´s necessary that you create a personal account.

Is Shopping Online with You Secure?
  • Yes, when you place an order, all data is encoded to and from the website by SSL (Secure Socket Layers).

Which Payment Methods Do You Accept?

CANCELLATION, MODIFICATION, RETURN OR EXCHANGE

 

How Do I Return My Order and what Are the Conditions to Return a Product?
  • When you purchase from our webshop, dotts gives you a 30-days money back guarantee from the delivery day, not covering original shipping costs and additional duties and/or taxes. If you want to request a refund you need to contact us at hey@dottsaudio.com within 30 days and return your product exactly as received - in perfect, unused condition and packaging. Failure to return the product in its original condition will result in no refund, and the product will be sent back to you.

  

 

AFTER-SALE SERVICES

 

Do You Offer Repair Services and Battery Replacement?
  • We offer no cost repair services and battery replacement during the warranty period. Please, consider that our quality department will verify that the product has some damage and assess the best way to fix it. However, if our quality department consider that a repair is not necessary, we will send it back to you without any repair.

    If your dotts need to be repaired once the warranty period is done, our quality department will assess how much the repair would cost, and we will let you know the cost via email before we repair it.

    *Please, consider that shipping costs are not included on our warranty.

How Long Does It Take to Repair a dotts headphone?
